Harry P. Stallbaum, 97 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010 in the Village of Heritage. He was born on Monday, November 17, 1913 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of the late Frederick Stallbaum and the late Molly Stallbaum Brown. He married Maxine W. Miller on October 1, 1938 in Monroeville, Indiana and she passed away September 22, 2003. Harry was a member of the Monroeville United Methodist Church. He was employed by Zollner Piston in Fort Wayne as a tool & die maker for over thirty years from the 1940's to the 1970's. He was also a farmer. Surviving are his daughter, Angela Palmer of Monroeville, daughter, Jennifer (Larry) Peckham of Monroeville, five grandchildren; Lisa (Craig) Johnson, Debra (Gary) Keller, Dana (Ray) Goelz, Christopher (Katy) Peckham & Stuart Peckham and nine great-grandchildren. Other survivors include four half-brothers; Jack (Ruth) Brown of Michigan, Don (Joyce) Brown of Fort Wayne, Richard (Nancy) Stallbaum of Illinois & Jackson Stallbaum of Massachusetts and two half-sisters; LaVonne Smith of Florida and Jean Heath of Florida. He was preceded in death by two half-brothers; Tommy D. Brown & Norman Stallbaum. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 3 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to Village of Heritage.
