Rosalie Ann Young, 82 years old of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center located in Fort Wayne. She was born on Thursday, December 5, 1929 in Willshire, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter G. Stetler and the late Daisy P. (August) Stetler. She married James O. Young, Sr. on January 29, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas and he passed away on December 25, 1975. Rosalie attended Praise Point Church in Willshire and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #207 in Willshire. She was a homemaker and had worked at Huffy for fourteen years, retiring in 1991. She had also worked at Decatur Industries. Surviving are her daughter, Vendetta (Craig) Guttshall of Huntington, Indiana; daughter, Colletta Woodall of Willshire, Ohio; daughter, Donetta Brite of Decatur, Indiana; son, James O. (Robin) Young, Jr. of Van Wert, Ohio; son, Calvin R. (Barb) Young of Rockford, Ohio. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren; Amanda Gutshall, Caleb Gutshall, Cole Gutshall, Ryan Woodall, Clay Woodall, Jennifer Solomon, Kristine McCormick, Megan Brite, Shanna English, Blake Young, CJ Young, & Shane Young and six great-grandchildren; McCade Harner, Haylee Woodall, Alayna Woodall, Ruby English, Jonah Young, Lucas Young. Preceding Rosalie in death were one great-granddaughter, Cora McCormick; two son-in-laws, Alan Brite and James W. 'Woody' Woodall; three brothers, Walter Eugene Stetler (killed in actioin during WWII in Italy), Charles 'Chub' Stetler, & Jack L. Stetler; and five sisters, Mary Lou Suman, Imogene Stetler, Maxine Huffman, Okaleah Fuelling, and Anita Sovine. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 22 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Willshire American Legion Auxillary or the March of Dimes in memory of Cora McCormick.
