Hazel B. Hart, 106 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 3:25 a.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2006 in the Convoy Care Center, located in Convoy, Ohio. Hazel was born on May 3, 1899 in Allen County, Indiana the daughter of the late Elijah Krick and the late Ida May (Goodin) Krick. She married the late Lyman V. Hart on November 2, 1918 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and he passed away on May 21, 1980. Hazel was a member of East Liberty United Methodist Church in rural Monroeville, Indiana and was a loving homemaker to her family. Surviving are her son, Delbert J. (Arvis) Hart of Monroeville, Indiana, daughter, Dorothy Eibling of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Velma) Bacon of New Haven, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Robert (Elsie) Weaver of Convoy, Ohio, daughter, Mrs. Paul (Marvene) Bower of Hoagland, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and thirty-nine great-great-grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2006 in the East Liberty United Methodist Church, rural Monroeville, Indiana, with Rev. Rick Borgman officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana; and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
