Herbert D. Krueckeberg, 73 years old of Bradenton, Florida, passed away at 7:07 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2006 in the Hospice Health Center in Florida. Hebert was born on September 10, 1933 in Convoy, Ohio the son of the late Frederick Krueckeberg and the late Edna (Becker) Krueckeberg. Herbert married Barbara J. Hilyard on December 13, 1963, and she survives. Hebert was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, in Decatur, Indiana; and the Adams Post #43 American Legion. Herbert retired from International Harvester in 1981 after 30 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Barbara J. Krueckeberg of Bradenton, Florida, son, Brian (Marilyn) Andrews of Decatur, Indiana, son, David Andrews of Anchorage, Alaska, son, Fredrick (Kristen) Krueckeberg of Toledo, Ohio, son, Thomas (Lisa) Krueckeberg of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Stephania (Charles) Cook of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Harold (Diana) Krueckeberg of Berne, Indiana, brother, Norman (Susan) Krueckeberg of Centerville, Ohio, brother, Ronald (Rita) Krueckeberg of Convoy, Ohio, brother, Marvin (Judy) Krueckeberg of Van Wert, Ohio, sister, Jeanette (Norb) Bultemeier of Decatur, Indiana, five grandchildren: Christopher Cook, Sergeant Kyle Andrews USMC, Katelyn Krueckeberg, Matthew Krueckeberg, and Daniel Krueckeberg, sister-in-law, Mary Krueckeberg, of Tennessee, and sister-in-law, Judy Krucekeberg, of Ohio. Preceding Herbert in death were two brothers, Robert and James Krueckeberg; one sister, Barbara Jean Krueckeberg; and one grandson, Nicholas Andrews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2006 in the Zion Lutheran Church, Decatur with Pastor Scott Bruick officiating.
