Rebecca K. "Becky" Ogg, 56 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 10:02 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2006 at her residence following an extended illness. Becky was born on September 22, 1949 in Decatur, Indiana, the daughter of the late Max E. Ogg and Helen J. (Owens) Ogg who survives. Becky was a member of Zion United Church of Christ; a deacon of the church; taught Sunday School for 37 years; Christian Education; Youth Council and other committees. Becky belonged to the Women's Guild of the church and was an active participant in Relay For Life. She was a graduate of Decatur High Class of 1967 and enjoyed doing crafts. Becky loved to travel with family and go to many baseball and basketball games. Becky was employed by Decatur Industries and currently as a Finishing Supervisor and had 37 years of service. Surviving are her Mother, Helen J. Ogg of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Terry (Joan) Ogg of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Neil (Mary) Ogg of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Joyce (Chris) Geels of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Janet Kiser of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Jill (William) Rykard of Decatur, Indiana; and many nieces and nephew: Craig Ruskaup, Mariessa Hockemeyer, Michelle Pugh, Nicole Meyer, Marsha Friedt, Chantel Langston, Daniel Dowler, Johnathon Shifferly, Brittney Hockemeyer, Cody Shifferly, Breanna Hockemeyer, Lance Shifferly, Mariah Geels, Makayla Free, Emma Ruskaup, Karley Hockemeyer, Victoria Geels, Ellee Ruskaup, Braiden Shaw, Carson Friedt, Madilyn Langston, Molly Pugh, Derek Meyer. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2006 in the Zion United Church of Christ with Rev. Randy Rossman officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Preferred memorials are to Zion United Church of Christ or A.C.C.F. Dreams to Reality Oncology Unit at Adams Memorial Hosptial or Relay For Life: Kiser-Ogg Fight For The Cause Team. Serving as pallbearers will be Dan Dowler, John Shifferly, Craig Ruskaup, Paul Hockemeyer, Jeremy Friedt, Kevin Pugh; Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Shifferly and Lance Shifferly.
