Donna J. Wefel 62 of Decatur, passed away at 10:44 a.m. Sunday in the Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne where she had been in critical condition since Thursday. Donna was born on September 14, 1948 in Decatur to Don & Altie Moyer Wolfe, who are both deceased. She was united in marriage to Randy Wefel on January 14, 1999 he survives. She was the co-owner and operator along with her husband of the Sportline Bar and Grill in Decatur. Donna formerly co-owned Cameo Realty also in Decatur. Surviving along with her husband Randy are two daughters, Marcella and David Haage of Fort Riley, Kansas, Leiah and Brian Barnes of Decatur, two sons, Jimmy Meyer of San Marcos, Texas, and Vince Meyer of Decatur. Also suviving are three step-daughters, Emily and Greg Schultz and Jill Wefel both of Decatur, and Jeni Wefel of Indianapolis, Indiana, two brothers, Ken Wolfe of Decatur and Brooks Wolfe of Raleigh, North Carolina, 12 Grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble. Rev. Daniel Brege will officate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-4 & 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur and also one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Preferred memorial donations are requested to be given to the family.
