Monica Ann O'Campo, 44 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 in the Adams Memorial Hospital as a result of complications from a degenerative heart disease. She was born on Saturday, July 27, 1963 in Decatur, Indiana the daughter of the late David B. O'Campo and Alice (Guereca) O'Campo. Monica was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and had been formerly employed by Gerber's Super Value #1 where she worked in the deli department. Surviving are her daughter, Adrian Lee O'Campo of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Michelle Lynn O'Campo serving in the U.S. Military in Kuwait, daughter, Leandra Melissa Swain-Fisher of North Carolina, companion, Barton Akamine of Decatur, Indiana, mother, Alicia O'Campo of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Ester O'Campo of Decatur, Indiana, brother, David B. O'Campo Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, sister, Silvia Fee of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Marcus (Rona) O'Campo of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Kristine (Scott) Smedley of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Jessica O'Campo-Jackson of Decatur, Indiana and two grandchildren, Mason James Kline & Benjamin Jerome Brandon Howard. There will be a 9:30 a.m. Prayer Service on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Dave Voors officiating. Interment will follow in the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 12 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
