Edward E. Williams, 70 years old of New Haven, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in Parkview Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Thursday, October 5, 1939 in Marion County, Indiana the son of the late Hila S. Williams and the late Cornelia B. (Orrell) Williams. He married Janice A. Roth on July 11, 1959. Edward served in the Indiana Air National Guard where he retired with the rank of technical sergeant. He was a member of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Edward was employed by East Allen County Schools from 1994 to 2008 when he retired. He was also a licensed auctioneer in the state of Indiana and was employed by the Auction Center in New Haven, Indiana. Surviving are his wife, Janice A. Williams of New Haven, daughter, Cindy (Steve) Krauskopf of Fremont, son, Mark (Linda) Williams of Harlan, son, Michael Williams of Fort Wayne, brother, Harold Williams of Bluffton, brother, Jim Williams of Indianapolis, eight grandchildren; Denise (Aaron) Kreamer, Kevin (Hannah) Krouskopf, Kelli (Cody) Mace, Julie (Jake) Arnold, Andrew Williams, Angela (Justin) Gross, Amy Williams & Timothy Williams and eight great-grandchildren; Elle Kreamer, Cameron Kreamer, Casey Kreamer, Elias Krouskopf, Jane Krouskopf, Logan Arnold, Lukas Mace and Baby Gross. Preceding Edward in death were one sister, Blanche Bleeke. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 in the Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State Street, Grabill, with Rev. Chuck Sunberg officiating. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m., Friday, April 23 in the Grabill Missionary Church and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to American Cancer Society.
