D. Pauline Minnich, 73 years old of Geneva, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. Pauline was born on Wednesday, December 2, 1936 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Clifford Roe and the late Violet (Manley) Roe. She married Richard H. Minnich on July 3, 1954 in Georgia. Pauline retired from CTS in Berne, Indiana and was a graduate of Pleasant Mills High School. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Richard H Minnich of Geneva, son, Roger (Sherri) Minnich of Geneva, daughter, Joyce Arnold of Decatur, son, Ron "Ferd" Minnich of Geneva, son, Randy "Buck" (Brenda) Minnich of Geneva, sister, Linda (Bob) McMillen of Decatur, brother, Leon (Cindy) Roe of Monroe, brother, Lynn Roe of Monroe, eight grandchildren; Jason Arnold, Jeff Arnold, Justin Arnold, Katrina Gilbert, Heidi Sprunger, Kayla Minnich, Blake Minnich & Braxton Minnich and eight great-grandchildren; James Arnold, Julia Arnold, Kianna Arnold, Korbin Arnold, Addison Gilbert, Dakota Sprunger, Brock Sprunger & Zoie Minnich. Preceding Pauline in death were one great granddaughter, Katelyn Gilbert and one brother, Larry Roe. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor James Compton officiating. Interment will follow in the Backesto/Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 14 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Adams County Community Foundation-Katelyn Gilbert Scholarship Fund.
