Janet M. Roughia, 83 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born on Sunday, September 9, 1928 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the daughter of the late Chester Bryan and the late Blanche (Byer) Bryan. She was married to the late Arnold R. Roughia, who passed away on April 29, 2004. They had been married over fifty years. Janet was an active member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a church choir member and also taught Sunday school. She retired from McDonald's Restaurant in Decatur after twenty years of service. Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Roughia of Fort Wayne, son, Jon (Ginger) Roughia of Bryant, Indiana, brother, Doyt (Vivian) Bryan of Decatur, sister, Barbara Gaunt of Decatur, brother, Richard (Sally) Bryan of London, Ohio, brother, Ronnie (Grace) Bryan of Salem, Indiana, and four grandchildren; Ann Marie Mahoney, Michelle Mahoney, Douglas Mahoney & Jill Roughia. Preceding Janet in death was one daughter, Kathy Mahoney. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 in the St. Mark's United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael Heinbaugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Tricker Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 28 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's United Methodist Church Choir.
