Betty M. Feasel, 89 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 10:05 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur. Betty was born on Friday, January 26, 1923 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Varlando Clark and the late Bertha (Flager) Clark. She married the late Bille Joe Feasel on July 19, 1953 and he passed away on May 2, 2002. Betty attended the Decatur Church of God in Decatur, and the Church House in Grabill, Indiana. She was a graduate of Pleasant Mills High School Class of 1941; belonged to the Quilting Group in Big Lake, Indiana. Betty loved sewing, cooking, baking, crocheting, and traveling. Betty had worked at the Schafer Glove Factory for 20 years and had also worked at Decatur Industries. Surviving are her daughter, Deb (Gary) Marbach of Decatur, Indiana; son, Dan (Sherry) Feasel of Auburn, Indiana; daughter, Sandy McNutt of St. Petersburg, Florida; son, James (Diane) Byer of Geneva, Indiana; sister, Ruth Hoblet of Convoy, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Betty in death were one brother, Glen "Clarkie" Clark; one grandson, Keith Marbach. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 in the Decatur Church of God with Kevin Abbott, Paul Schmucker, and Dr. Robert Brink officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt Tabor Cemetery, rural Decatur, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Preferred memorials are to the Salvation Army or the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
