Olive M. Morrison

Olive M. Morrison, 86 years old of New Haven, Indiana and a longtime former resident of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at her granddaughter, Dana Morrison's, residence in New Haven, Indiana where she had been living the past twelve months. She was born on Sunday, March 8, 1925 in Willshire Township, Ohio the daughter of the late Aaron Ridenour and the late Dovie Jane (Mason) Ridenour. She married Charles W. Morrison on May 12, 1943 in Wren, Ohio and he passed away in December of 1996. Olive was a 1943 graduate of Willshire High School and was employed by Decatur General Electric during WW II. She was a homemaker most of her life. Surviving are her son, Wilfred (Linda) Morrison of Cleveland, Ohio, brother, Bill Ridenour of Lake Worth, Florida, sister, Betty Burson of Belleview, Ohio, four grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. Olive was preceded in death by two sons, Robert E. & Lyle A. Morrison; two sisters, Norma Agler & Ruth DeCamp; and three brothers, Roy, Ralph & Paul Ridenour. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Michaelle Isch officiating. Interment will follow in the Tricker Cemetery, Monroe, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2011 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Decatur Church of Christ.
