Otis L. "Junior" Patterson, 81 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2006 in the Canterbury Nursing & Rehabilitation located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Otis was born on April 4, 1925 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan the son of the late Otis L. Patterson and the late Eliazbeth J. (Bellor) Patterson. He married the late Margaret H. "Marge" Angus on August 9, 1947 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and she passed away on July 29, 1991. Otis served in the United States Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post #420 in Monroeville. He retired from farming in 1995. Surviving are his son, John L. (Kaye) Patterson of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, son, Jim E. (Jean) Patterson of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Jody L. (Molly) Patterson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Patricia G. McFeeters of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, step-son, Richard H. Listenberger of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, sister, Violet Strandberg of Jackson, Michigan, sister, Charlotte Heath of New Baltimore, Michigan, sister, Arlene Lewis of Fraser, Michigan, sister, Mary Smith of Fortson, Georgia, brother, George Deisz of New Baltimore, Michigan, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren. Preceding Otis in death were three brothers, Patrick, Kenneth, Ed Patterson; and two sisters, June Louise Patterson and Edith Burke. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with the Rev. Janet Luchs officiating. Interment will follow in the Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Monroeville EMS.
