Willodean M. Grace Foster, 84 years old of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Monroeville, Indiana passed away at 9:54 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010 in the Hospice Home located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Willodean was born on Saturday, September 11, 1926 in Celina, Ohio the daughter of the late Martin L. Lehman and the late Gladys (Beerbower) Lehman. Her 1st husband was Richard L. Grace and he passed away on October 14, 1961. Her 2nd husband was John W. Foster and he passed away on November 28, 2005. Willodean was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Monroeville, Indiana where she had been the organist and a member of the Von Bora Society. She was a member of the Quilters Guild in Auburn, Indiana and the Embroiders Guild of America. Willodean was a graduate of Lafayette Central High School Class of 1944 and she graduated from St. Francis College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana with a Master's Degree. Willodean enjoyed quilting, sewing, and knitting. Willodean had taught English at East Allen County Schools from 1967-1986; was a homemaker; had worked at the International Harvester in the office from 1944-1946; and the Monroeville Lumber Company in the office from 1963-1968. Surviving are her son, Robert M. (Pam) Grace of Canton, Illinois; son, Richard L. (Sharon) Grace of Monroeville, Indiana; son, Rex A. (Brenda) Grace of Coeur'D Alene, Idaho; step-son, Johnnie L. (Beverly) Foster of Monroeville, Indiana; step-daughter, Regina S. (Robert) Miller of Monroe, Indiana; sister, Shirley (William) Schafer of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Marjorie S. (Donald Andrew) Goodson of Columbia City, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Preceding Willodean in death were one daughter, Rebecca M. Wineke; and one great-grandson, Daniel Smith (12 years old). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 in the St. Mark Lutheran Church with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Hospice Home-Ft. Wayne.
