Robert Paul "Brownie" Brown, 80 years old of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at his residence. He was born on Thursday, October 18, 1926 in Adams County, Indiana the son of the late Elliott Brown and the late Myrtle (Chronister) Brown. He married Louise Miller on December 5, 1956 in Decatur, Indiana. Robert served in the United States Army in Germany during WWII. He was a member of the Willshire Sportsman's Club. Brownie retired in 1983 from Kenosha Auto Transport with 35 years of service. He then worked for the Village of Willshire and was also caretaker of the Willshire Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Louise Brown of Willshire, Ohio, son, Bob (Mary) Brown of Willshire, Ohio, daughter, Mrs. Jack (Cindy) Berry of Willshire, Ohio, son, Dan (Wanda) Ross of Willshire, Ohio, daughter, Mrs. Amos (Paulette) Stauffer of Willshire, Ohio, son, David E. (Kathy) Brown of Monroe, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Pat (Deb) Curry of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Steve (Tina) Brandt of Willshire, Ohio, 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceding Robert in death were one brother, John Brown and three sisters, Alice Brown, Betty Feasel, and Helen Williamson. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in the Praise Point Church with Rev. Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery with Military Graveside Honors conducted by the American Legion Homer Pierson Post. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 20 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Preferred memorials are to Wren EMS, Willshire Fire Department or Praise Point Church.
