Tonna S. Thiele

Tonna S. Thiele, 58 years old of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2008 in the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana following a brief illness. She was born on Wednesday, November 23, 1949 in Decatur, Indiana the daughter of the late Norbert Bultemeyer and Francile (Reidenbach) Bultemeyer. She married Donald L. Thiele on October 24, 1970 in Zion Lutheran Church, Decatur, Indiana. Tonna was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Ossian, Indiana where she served as the church organist, on the church council and directed the choir. She was also an Allen County 4-H Leader for fourteen years. She operated the Morning Glory Inn Bed & Breakfast along with her husband, Don and she was the librarian at the Croniger Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Surviving are her husband, Donald L. Thiele of Fort Wayne, Indiana, son Jamee Thiele of Fort Wayne, Indiana, son, Jared Thiele (fiance', Kathy Scott) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, future grandchildren, Logan Boroff of Paulding, Ohio and Kaleb Kiracofe of Antwerp, Ohio, mother, Francile Hall of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Deb (Dave) Green of Fort Wayne, Indiana, sister, Claudia Liechty of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Pam Hall of Decatur, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Tonna in death was her step-father, Robert Hall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008 in the St. Mark Lutheran Church with Pastor Nathan R. Wadewitz officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Croniger Elementary Library or the St. Mark Lutheran Church.
