Chelsea Kay Hart, 15 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010 in the Parkview Hospital following an accident. She was born on Thursday, January 12, 1995 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the daughter of William Hart and Karen (Hockemeyer) Hart. Chelsea was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock and was a freshman at Heritage High School where she was a member of the Heritage Girl's Softball Team. Chelsea had a personality that could and did illuminate the entire world. From being a perfect friend to an even better daughter and sister, Chelsea and her heart of gold will always be remembered in a positive way. She was blessed with a smile that captured the hearts of many and a laugh known by all. She will remain in our hearts forever. Surviving are her parents, Bill & Karen Hart of Monroeville, brother, Jon Hart of Fort Wayne, brother, Ben Hart of Monroeville, maternal grandmother, Alvera Hockemeyer of Monroeville and paternal grandmother, Janice Barr of Monroeville. Preceding Chelsea in death was her maternal grandfather, Raymond Hockemeyer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in the St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock with Rev. Douglas Christian officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery Flatrock. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 11 and from 1 to 5 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 12, in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville. Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock.
