Beth A. Rorick, 48 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at her residence following a 2 year battle with cancer. Beth was born on September 26, 1957 in Decatur, Indiana, the daughter of Alfred Scheumann, who survives, and the late Leonora (Rebber) Scheumann who passed away on June 13, 1993. She married George Rorick on April 21, 1979 in the St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon and he survives. Beth was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville, Indiana. Beth was an Account Associate with Xerox Corp. in the Ft. Wayne office. She enjoyed being a seamstress where she made many dresses for weddings, proms, and other special occasions. Surviving are her husband, George Rorick of Monroeville, Indiana, father, Alfred (and his wife, Mary) Scheumann of Hoagland, Indiana, daughter, Heidi L. Rorick of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Daniel A. Rorick of West Lafayette, Indiana, brother, Keith (Debbie) Scheumann of Hoagland, Indiana, brother, Alan Scheumann of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, brother, Lowell (Doris) Scheumann of Hoagland, Indiana, sister, Kathy (Robert) Boling of Ossian, Indiana, sister, Peggy (Chris) Kofer of Strafford, New Hampshire, sister, Kelly (Len) Winebrenner of Hoagland, Indiana. Beth was preceded in death by one son, Frederick Rorick and one daugther, Andrea Rorick. There will be a 9:20 a.m. Prayer Service in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 27, 2006 in the St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville, with the Father Stephen Colchin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery - Besancon. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006 and from 12:00 NOON - 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the Cancer Services of Allen County; St. Joseph Catholic School, Monroeville; or the St. Louis Academy.
