Arvis R. Hart, 79 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2007 in the Village of Heritage located in Monroeville. She was born on Monday, March 26, 1928 in Allen County, Indiana the daughter of the late Chester Lehman and the late Clara (Ruble) Lehman. She married Delbert J. Hart on May 11, 1946 in Allen County, Indiana and he passed away September 25, 2006. Arvis was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock in Monroeville, Indiana. She was a homemaker and also worked in the housekeeping department at Brighton Hall Nursing Home in New Haven, Indiana for several years. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Larry (Rebecca J.) Coomer of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Bernard J. (Faye) Hart of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Burton E. (Pam) Hart of Columbia City, Indiana, daughter, Betty J. Klenke of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Bryan J. (Nan) Hart of Columbia City, Indiana, sister, Mary McCormick of Fort Wayne, Indiana, seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Preceding Arvis in death were one sister, Eva Stevens and four brothers, Donald, Edwin, Harold, & Herman Lehman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 in the St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock with Rev. Douglas Christian officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 28 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock or the Village of Heritage-Jukebox Fund.
