James R. Jim Griffith, 62 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2007 in the Village of Heritage located in Monroeville. He had been ill since January of 2007. He was born on Wednesday, May 9, 1945 in Yonkers, New York the son of the late Francis Griffith and the late Katherine (Wilson) Griffith. James served in the United States Army during Viet Nam and he retired from International Harvester after 20 years of service as a supervisor. Surviving are his son, Thomas G. Griffith of St. Joe, IN, daughter, Yvonne M. (Dave) Millhouse, friend, Steve Jackson of Monroeville, Indiana, and five step-grandchildren. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
