Mary E. Osborn, 90 years old of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009. She was born on Thursday, December 26, 1918 in Lincoln County, Missouri the daughter of the late C. Clay Cox and the late Grace Elizabeth (McMahill) Cox. She was married to her husband of seventy years, Dr. Merrill J. Osborn, on March 31, 1939 in Kirksville, Missouri. Mary was a homemaker and attended Pleasant View Baptist Church in Wren, Ohio. She enjoyed many hobbies such as reading, cooking, gardening, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Surviving are her husband, Dr. Merrill J. Osborn of Willshire, daughter, Deanne (John) Taylor of Austin, Texas, son, Dean (Joanne) Osborn of Cincinnati, Ohio, son, Daryl (Candace) Osborn of Wapakoneta, Ohio, daughter, Deborah (Dan) Schmidt of Willshire, thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Preceding Mary in death were one son, RC Duane Osborn, one granddaughter, Amy Osborn and one sister, Clara Finley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Millay officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery, Willshire, Ohio. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 13 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the start of the funeral service on Monday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Community Health Professionals of Celina, Ohio.
