Oscar H. ""Bud"" Heintzelman, 74 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2008 at his residence in Monroeville. He had been ill since February. Bud was born on Friday, June 8, 1934 in South Bend, Indiana the son of the late Oscar Heintzelman and the late Rosemary (Stuckey) Heintzelman. He married Margaret A. Marge Weaver on November 6, 1954 in the St. Andrews Catholic Church and she survives. Bud was a member of the Navy Club in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and was a graduate from Central Catholic High School Class of 1953 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was an avid Notre Dame fan. Bud retired in 1999 from Dana Corp. in Ft. Wayne, Indiana after 44 years of service as a Lead Inspector. Surviving are his wife, Marge A. Heintzelman of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Oscar H. (Ruth) Heintzelman III of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, son, Charles M. (Janet) Heintzelman of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Carolyn M. (Tony) Sipe of Monroeville, Indiana, son, John C. Heintzelman of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Daniel R. Heintzelman of Monroeville, Indiana, daughter, Shirley A. (Will) Hoover of Decatur, Indiana, son, Andrew J. (Krissy) Heintzelman of Maples, Indiana, son, Benjamin A. Heintzelman of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter, Angelia M. (Anthony) Simshauser of Monroeville, Indiana, brother, Robert (Pat) Heintzelman of Muncie, Indiana, brother, William Daugherty of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sister, Judith (Jim) Herstad of McClish Lake, Indiana, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Preceding Oscar in death was one son, Tom Heintzelman in 1973. A 9:30 a.m. Prayer Service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville with Father Stephen Colcin officiating. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Parkview Hospice or St. Joseph School in Monroeville.
