Florence R. Bulmahn, 90 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010 in the Bluffton Regional Medical Center located in Bluffton, Indiana. Florence was born on Thursday, May 6, 1920 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Adolph Marbach and the late Viola (Grote) Marbach. She married the late Hugo Bulmahn on June 21, 1942 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church and he passed away on February 13, 2007. Florence was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble and the Christ the King Lutheran Church in LaBelle, Florida. Florence was a homemaker and partner to her husband in the operation of the family farm and orange grove. Surviving are her son, Gerald (Laurna) Bulmahn of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Maxine (Dennis) Nahrwold of Ossian, Indiana; son, Kenneth (Sherry) Bulmahn of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Edith (Wilmer) Nierman of Van Wert, Ohio; sister, Edna Mesing of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Herbert (Lorna) Marbach of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Edward Marbach of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Richard (Helen Witte) Marbach of Decatur, Indiana; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild. Preceding Florence in death were two sisters, Linda Brenneke and Norma Mueller. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble with Rev. Daniel J. Brege officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Preble. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Preferred memorials are to Christ the King Lutheran Church Building Fund in LaBelle, Florida; St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble; or the donor's choice.
