Clifford A. Wagner, 82 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 2:56 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at his residence in Monroeville, Indiana following an illness of 7 months. Clifford was born on September 6, 1923 in Allen County, Indiana, the son of the late Adolph Wagner and the late Emma (Gerardot) Wagner. His first wife was Betty J. Bayman, who passed away in 1999; his second wife was Betty J. Johnson, who passed away in 2003. Clifford retired in 1982 from International Harvester with 37 1/2 years of service in the service and maintenance departments. Surviving are his step-son, Richard L. Howe of Monroeville, Indiana, step-son, Charles C. Howe of Monroeville, Indiana, step-son, Victor Lillich of Ann Arbor, Michigan, step-son, Lester Lillich of Decatur, Indiana, step-daughter, Susie Lillich of Coleman, Michigan, sister, Mary E. Baker of Monroeville, Indiana, sister, Grace L. Crabill of Columbia City, Indiana, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Clifford was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty J. (Bayman) Wagner in 1999, his second wife, Betty J. (Johnston) Wagner in 2003, four brothers, Edgar, Elmer, Walter, Lloyd Wagner, and two sisters, Luella Brown and Flossie Daugherty. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana with the Rev. Laura Sherwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the Monroeville EMS of Parkview Hospice.
