Mary Kathryn Grabner, 90 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at her residence, following an illness of 6 months. Mary Kathryn was born on Sunday, October 30, 1921 in Monroeville, Indiana the daughter of the late Clarence J. Beauchot and the late Elizabeth C. (Westrick) Beauchot. She married Donald D. Grabner on July 28, 1945 in Fredericksburg, Virginia and they celebrated 66 years of marriage. Mary Kathryn was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville; the Ladies Guild at the church; the American Legion Auxillary Unit 420; and the V.F.W. Auxillary #10205. Mary Kathryn was the secretary-treasurer at the Monroeville School for 25 years from 1959 to 1981. Surviving are her husband, Donald D. Grabner of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Annette K. (Samuel) May of New Haven, IN; daughter, Mary Jo (Dennis) Linder of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Susann Gilbert of Portland, IN; daughter, Kathy M. (Pierre) de Calonne of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Grabner of Ft. Wayne, IN; sister, Carolyn (Harold "BB") Blauvelt of Monroeville, IN; brother, Robert (Kathy) Beauchot of Columbia City, IN; brother, Clarence J. (Josie) Beauchot of Decatur, IN; brother, Jamesj (Rosie) Beauchot of Monroeville, IN; brother, Joseph (Susan) Beauchot of Monroeville, IN; brother, Gene (Jane) Beauchot of Monroeville, IN; eleven grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Preceding Mary Kathryn in death were one son, Dennis J. Grabner in 1997; two sisters, Theresa Beauchot and Sharon Wenger. A 9:15 a.m. Prayer Service will be held Monday, December 19, 2011 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville, Indiana with Fr. Lourdino Fernandes officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville, Indiana. Friends will be received from 1-5 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are Masses to the Church or St. Joseph Catholic School.
