Margaret L. "Maggie" Fruchte, 80 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2007 in the Woodcrest Nursing Center. She was born on Friday, April 30, 1926 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Albert H. Fruchte and the late Alma A. (Kruetzman) Fruchte. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Decatur and the Eastern Star and Dakota Club of Decatur. She retired from the Decatur General Electric in 1992 with 42 years of service. Surviving are her brother, Donald R. (Katherine) Fruchte of Dayton, Ohio, brother, Herbert E. (Clisty)Fruchte of Monroe, Indiana, brother, Roger D. (Marilyn) Fruchte of Decatur, Indiana, five nieces, and four nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Wasson. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Rossman officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6 in the Woodcrest Chapel, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Zion United Church of Christ.
