Mary Jane Reinhart, 81 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 6:35 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2006 in the Village of Heritage located in Monroeville, Indiana. Mary was born on July 11, 1925 in Adams County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Carl Shaffer and the late Myrtle (Bailer) Shaffer. She married the late Harry D. Reinhart on July 28, 1945, and he passed away on September 26, 2000. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Darry Reinhart of Hoagland, Indiana, son, Rex (Connie) Reinhart of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Ken (Vickie) Reinhart of Decatur, Indiana, son, Steve Reinhart of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Sharon (John) Keller of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Rita (Ronald) Stetler of Willshire, Ohio, daughter, Brenda (James) Mowery of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Charles (Ruth) Shaffer of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Annabelle (Carl) Lichtenberger of Decatur, Indiana, twenty grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding Mary in death were two sons, one daughter, one brother, Jesse Shaffer and two great grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana with the Rev. Dale Worcester officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Village of Heritage or the Family Hospice of N E Indiana, Berne.
