Joyce L. Hott, 70 years old of Gainesville, Florida, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at her sister's reisdence in Alachua, Florida. Joyce was born on July 23, 1936 in Wells County, Indiana the daughter of the late R. Harold Hott and the late Katherine (Higgins) Hott. Joyce was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur, Indiana. Surviving are her brother, Richard D. Hott of Adelphi, Maryland, brother, Don E. Hott of Markle, Indiana, twin-sister, Mrs. Phil (Janet S.) Krick of Alachua, Florida, and sister, Mrs. Jerry (Judy A.) Baumann of Alachua, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Indiana Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. In lieu of flowers preferred memorials can be made to the Adams County Community Foundation-Cancer Fund.
