William D. "Bill" Fuhrman, 75 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 1:20 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2006 in the Woodcrest Nursing Center located in Decatur, Indiana. Bill was born on August 19, 1931 in Allen County, Indiana, the son of the late Otto F. Fuhrman and the late Clara L. (Lahrman) Fuhrman. Bill was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim and worked as a farm hand. Bill was a good brother, uncle and great uncle. Bill was a friend to many, always interested in everyone's family. He never met a stranger. Surviving are his sister, Ruth (Harv) Eggers of Fremont, Nebraska; brother, Otto F. (Marlene) Fuhrman of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Shirley A. (Al) Hormann of Decatur, Indiana; brother, James A. (Evie) Fuhrman of Hoagland, Indiana; nieces: Cindy Tonsing, Sherry Strasser, Deb Stevens, Beth Kitson, and Erin Lengerich; and nephews; David Fuhrman, Jon Fuhrman, Chad Fuhrman, Steve Hormann, Doug Hormann, and Scott Hormann. Preceding William in death was a brother, Melvin Fuhrman. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Friedheim, with Pastor Daniel Dahling officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Friedheim. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church Friedheim - Cemetery Fund or the donor's choice.
