Vivian L. Painter of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. She was born in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Cloice Beam and the late Cecil L. (Dague) Beam. Vivian attended the First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Women of the Moose for over fifty years. She was a graduate of Monmouth High School and retired in 1992 from CTS in Berne, Indiana with sixteen years of service. Surviving are her twin-daughter, Mrs. Ron (Vickie) Ellis of Decatur, twin-daughter, Mrs. Richard (Valerie) Parrish of Decatur, five grandchildren; Adam Ellis, Aaron Ellis, Richard Parrish, Chris Parrish & Valyssa Parrish and two great-grandchildren; Alec Ellis & Addison Parrish. Preceding Vivian in death were one sister, Virginia Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 in Woodcrest Chapel and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Moose Heart.
