Gina M. Spieth, 47 years old of New Haven, Indiana, passed away at 2:35 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2007 in the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a two year battle with cancer. Gina was born on December 9, 1959 in Decatur, Indiana the daughter of the late Ronald W. Gaskill and Carole L. (Case) Gaskill. Her mother survives. She married Stanley A. Spieth on August 3, 1985 in the St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon. Gina was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon in New Haven, Indiana. Gina was a graduate of Heritage High School Class of 1978. Gina was a homemaker and had also worked for Fleetwood Motor Homes in Decatur, Indiana from 1978 to 1988. Surviving are her husband, Stanley S. Spieth of New Haven, Indiana, daughter, Lisa M. Spieth at home, daughter, Laura R. Spieth at home, son, Ryan W. Spieth at home, mother, Carole L. Gaskill of Monroeville, Indiana, sister, Debra A. Thomas of Logansport, Indiana, sister, Ronna L. (Gary) Frecker of New Haven, Indiana, sister, Pamela S. (Randy) Scherer of Monroeville, Indiana, sister, Kelly R. (Rick) Johnson of Monroeville, Indiana, father & mother-in-law, Herman & Evelyn Spieth of New Haven, Indiana. There will be a 9:20 a.m. Prayer Service held Monday, January 8, 2007 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2007 in the St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, New Haven, Indiana, with Fr. Stephen Colchin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery - Besancon. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2007 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. There will be a Rosary recited at 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the Children's College Education Fund.
