Elsie L. Keuneke, 95 years old of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007 in the Riverbend Health Care Center. She was born on Thursday, February 2, 1911 in Velbert, Germany the daughter of the late Wilhelm Stinsmuehlen and the late Louise (Reckeweg) Stinsmuehlen. She married her first husband, Leo T. Baker, in 1928 and he passed away on October 5, 1977. She then married the late Fredrick Keuneke on November 11, 1989 and he passed away on February 21, 2001. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Elsie was a homemaker and she had also previously worked at International Harvester and Scott's Bakery. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Jim (Marilyn) Wilkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana, grandson, Donald L. (Linda) Wilkins of Columbus, Ohio, granddaughter, Mrs. Craig (JoEllen L.) Campbell of Indianapolis, Indiana, grandson, John L. (Rose) Wilkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana, seven great-grandchildren, one great great- grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2007 in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana with Rev. Steven Ensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Friends will be received from noon to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 7 in D.O. McComb and Sons, Foster Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Preferred memorials are to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
