Betty A. Peck, 76 years old of Woodburn, Indiana, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home located in Fort Wayne after an illness since March. Betty was born on Tuesday, June 9, 1936 in Elizabeth, Indiana the daughter of the late Lyle L. Liebert and the late Anna (McCollum) Liebert. She married the late Wayne R. Peck on April 6, 1962 in St. Paul Lutheran Church-Gar Creek; and he passed away on May 24, 2000. Betty was a member of the Monroeville United Methodist Church where she had been the church organist for many years and also sang in the church choir for many years. Betty was a graduate of New Haven High School Class of 1954. Betty was a secretary in the Insurance Department at Slater Steel in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for 23 years. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Annette M.) Bader of Woodburn, IN; son, Wayne E. (Sherrill A.) Frock of Monroe, IN; six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 in the Monroeville United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Walus officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery, Monroeville, IN. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Preferred memorials are to Monroeville United Methodist Church or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
