Thomas P. Flynn, 63 years old and a resident of New Haven since 1987, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Parkview Hospital following an illness of two months. He was born on Sunday, March 23, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio the son of the late Thomas Flynn and the late Mary (Conlon) Doyle. He married Regina A. Miller on January 30, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thomas served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post #330 in New Haven and the VFW Post #2457 in New Haven. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1967 and retired in 2006 from BAE Systems in Fort Wayne with thirty-seven years of service. Surviving are his wife, Regina A.Flynn of New Haven, son, Mike (Denise) Flynn of Fort Wayne, daughter, Karen (Tim) Smith of Fort Wayne, daughter, Amy (Scott) Zimmerman of New Haven, daughter, Erica (Chad) David of Fort Wayne, seven grandchildren, Kanan & ZZ Flynn, Jeremy & Jenna Smith, Dalton Zimmerman and Cody & Sam David; brother, Jim (Sherry) Doyle of Fort Wayne, brother, Bill Doyle of Syracuse, and nephew, Stephen (Jessica) Doyle of Fort Wayne. Preceding Thomas in death were his step-father, Thomas L. Doyle on December 31, 1992 and a nephew, Christopher Doyle in 2006. Private services will be held at a later time. There will be no visitation. Preferred memorials are to the Leukemia Association at Parkview Foundation and may be made through Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana.
