Henry L. Meyer, 93 years old of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, passed away at 7:53 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2006 in the Lutheran Home located in Fort Wayne. Henry had been a resident of Concord Village for the past 16 years. Henry was born on November 7, 1912 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana the son of the late Henry J. Meyer and the late Louise (Trier) Meyer. He married the late Freida E. Wiegman on February 23, 1935 in St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock, rural Monroeville, Indiana. Freida passed away on March 7, 2006. Henry was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock, rural Monroeville, Indiana. He had retired from farming. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Marianne (Carl) Krog of Marinette, Wisconsin, daughter, Karen Behm of Noblesville, Indiana, daughter, Arleen Williamson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, son, H. John (Helen) Meyer of Milbury, Ohio, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding Henry in death was one daughter, Carol Lou Meyer. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in the Lutheran Home Chapel, Ft. Wayne, Indiana with Rev. Roger Olson and Rev. Douglas Christian officiating. Interment will follow in the St John Lutheran Cemetery, Flatrock, Monroeville, Indiana. Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in the Lutheran Home Chapel. Preferred memorials are to Lutheran Home Chapel or St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock.
