Mary L. Ruble, 77 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 4:07 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012 in the Parkview Regional Medical Center located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mary was born on Saturday, May 4, 1935 in Convoy, Ohio, the daughter of the late William Pancake and the late Fannie (Sheets) Pancake. She married the late Roxy R. Ruble on November 25, 1956 in Convoy, Ohio and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2009. Mary was secretary/treasurer of Roxy Ruble & Sons Truck Sales in Monroeville; she also assisted in the farming operation run by her husband and sons; and was a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Mark (Chris) Ruble of Monroeville, IN; son, Phil Ruble of Monroeville, IN; son, Todd (Lynn) Ruble of Decatur, IN; brother, Bill (Mid) Pancake of Van Wert, OH; sister, Lucille Kolbow of New Haven, IN; 8 grandchildren: Heather (Daniel) Butcher; Kimberly (Alex) Pawlowski; Daniel Ruble; Abby Ruble; Craig Ruble; Sarah Ruble; Rachel Ruble; and Aaron Ruble. 2 great-grandchildren: Brayden Butcher and Lexi Butcher and one more on the way. Preceding Mary in death were five brothers, Kenneth, Harold, Larry, Carl, and Herb Pancake; and one sister, Betty Ruble. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery, Monroeville, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Preferred memorials are to A.C.C.F. Angel Fund or Honor Flight-Northeast Indiana.
