Billie Jean McCrory, 91 years old of Quincy, Michigan, passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the Community Health Center of Branch County located in Coldwater, Michigan. Billie Jean was formerly of Ft. Wayne, Indiana Billie Jean was born on Wednesday, December 21, 1921 in Van Wert, Ohio the daughter of the late Verl Krick and the late Treva (Custer) Krick. She married the late Max Marshall McCrory on December 21, 9145 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and he passed away on October 4, 2010. Billie Jean was a member of the DAR and had been a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. She served her country in the United States Navy during World War II and was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughter, Rea (Charles) Davis of Clarkston, Michigan; daughter, Kerry (Melvin) Hamrick of Fremont, Indiana; 7 grandchildren: Lorrie Bilderback, DeeDee Jacobsen, Mary Kelley, Holly Cope, Joni Hamrick, Jason Davis, Matthew Davis; and 14 great-grandchildren: Miranda Davis, Jacob Davis, Genevieve Davis, Ori Davis, Violet Davis, Sam Bilderback, Lindsey Bilderback, Aiden Jacobsen, Owen Jacobsen, Hans Jacobsen, Klein Jacobsen, Kyler Cope, Calob cope, Enrique Diaz, and Kendall Kelley. Preceding Billie in death was a sister, Marilyn Krick. Private funeral services were held, with burial in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton, Indiana.
