Margaret H. Buuck, 91 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Friday, May 20, 1921 in Decatur, Indiana the daughter of the late Jacob Hoffman and the late Minnie (Borne) Hoffman. She married Richard Buuck on May 8, 1943 in the Zion Reformed Church in Decatur. Margaret was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim and the Tabea Society of the church. She was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the church choir. She was a Key Lady for the Lutheran Homes Auxiliary for over thirty years and a member of the Poe Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret was a homemaker and a partner with her husband, Richard, operating the family farm. She had previously worked at the Schaefer Glove Company and also General Electric in Decatur. Surviving are her husband, Richard Buuck of Decatur; son, Ronald (Bonnie) Buuck of Ossian; daughter, Suzann (Leonard) Rekeweg of Monroeville; son, Allen (Shirley) Buuck of Decatur; son, Clifford Buuck of Decatur; son, Calvin Buuck of Decatur; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hoffman of Preble, and her caretaker, Ruby Werling of Decatur. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Sherri (Walter) Johnson; Julie (Tyler) Lehman; Roger (Bethany) Buuck; Loriann (Greg) White; Lynette (Paul) Selking; Brian (Sarah) Franz; Darin (Amber) Franz; Andrew Buuck; James Buuck; Daniel Buuck; & Michael Buuck; two step-grandchildren, Shane (Tessa) Rekeweg & Curtis (Amy) Rekeweg; eighteen great-grandchildren, Andrea (fiancé, Nathan Avery) Johnson, Allyssa (fiancé, David Anderson) Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Victoria Johnson, Ethan Lehman, Christian Lehman, Grayson Lehman, Zane Buuck, Grace Buuck, Logan White, Zachary White, Dalton White, Lauren Selking, Noah Selking, Levi Selking, Maddox Franz, Veronica Franz, & Evan Franz; and five step great-grandchildren, Jacob Dykes, Mackenzie Dykes, Alexa Rekeweg, Madison Rekeweg, & Ben Rekeweg. Preceding Margaret in death were two brothers, Harold & Milton Hoffman, and one son-in-law, Loren D. Franz. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Monday, February 18, 2013, in the Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim with Pastor Daniel Dahling officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Friedheim. Friends will be received from 12 noon to 3 p.m. & 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, February 17, in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim; Worship for Shut-Ins; or the donor's choice.
