Pauline Selking, 91 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 in the Woodcrest Nursing Center located in Decatur. Pauline was born on Friday, July 1, 1921 in Edgerton, Ohio the daughter of the late Elmer A. Edwards and the late Julia F. (Zeigler) Edwards. She married the late Robert Louis Selking on April 29, 1940 in New Haven, Indiana and he passed away in 1984. Pauline was member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble, and was active in the Ladies Aid of the church. Pauline retired in 1980 from General Electric in Ft. Wayne, Indiana with 19 years of service. Surviving are her daughter, Kathleen "Kay" (Richard, Sr.) Czykoski of Minneola, FL, sister, Maybelle Blankenbeckler of Defiance, OH, sister, Carol Berryman of Bryant, OH, brother-in-law, George James of Garrett, IN, niece, Sandy (Gerald) Lockwood of Waterloo, IN, four grandsons: Robert, Richard Jr., Randy, and John Czykoski; and several great-grandchildren. Preceding Pauline in death were 1 brother, Roy Edwards; 4 sisters, Bernice James; Donna Doane; Hilda M. Akins; and a sister in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble with Rev. Dr. Daniel J. Brege officiating. Interment will follow in the Concordia Cemetery Gardens, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Preferred memorials are to St. Paul Lutheran Church-Preble; or ACCF-Cancer Fund.
