Barry F. Phillips, 57 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 7:54 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013 in the Parkview Regional Medical Center located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Barry was born on Saturday, September 15, 1956 in Ft. Wayne, IN the son of the late Roger Phillips and Jacqueline (Johnson) Phillips and his mother survives. He married Lisa Roussey on April 23, 1993 in Ft. Wayne, IN and she survives. Barry was a member of the Tokheim Quarter Century Club. Barry had been employed by Tokheim as a production worker in various departments for 28 years. Following the closing of Tokheim, Barry began working at North Wells Service Center as a mechanic, continuing there until last year when his illness prevented him from working. Surviving are his wife, Lisa Phillips of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Alexis Cope of Ft. Wayne, IN; son, Jacob Phillips of Monroeville, IN; step-daughter, Sarah (Mike) Haffner-Floyd of Muskogee, OK; step-son, Adam Haffner of Norfolk, VA; mother, Jacqueline Phillips of Warner Robbins, GA; sister, Judy (Roger) Monteith of Ft. Wayne, IN; sister, Jill (Abed) AbuShanab of Warner Robbins, GA; 5 grandchildren: Andru Millage, Vivica Cope-Webb, Leora Floyd, Naomi Floyd, and Wyatt Floyd. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana with Pastor Dave Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2013 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, IN and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the family.
