Gertrude Jean "Trudy" Bragg, 77 years old of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away at 8:24 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Room. Trudy was born on Tuesday, December 22, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles Roberts and the late Dorothy (Holmes) Roberts. She married Donald Bragg on April 13, 1970 in Monroeville, IN and he survives. Trudy was a member of the Monroeville United Methodist Church; and the American Legion Post 420 Auxillary in Monroeville. Trudy had been employed by Norfolk and Southern Railroad where she was a clerk for 10 years; and at Skell Gas Company as a secretary for 4 years. Surviving are her husband, Donald Bragg of Monroeville, IN; son, Michael (Vera) Haffner of Dayton, OH; daughter, Valerie (Wade) Stimpson of Farmville, VA; son, Daniel (Candice) Haffner of Centerville, OH; brother, William (Patty) Roberts of Ft. Wayne, IN; half-brother, Scott Wathen, California; 7 grandchildren: Amy, Angie, Sarah, Joey, Adam, Magen, and Shawn; and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceding Gertrude in death was one son, Steven Haffner. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Rev. Mark Walus officiating. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2014 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana.
