Noble William "Bill" Comment, 73 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in the Parkview Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Thursday, May 16, 1940 in Adams County, Indiana the son of the late Noble "Cobe" Comment Sr. and the late Cecil (Burkhead) Comment. He married Lucille F. Sorg on August 12, 1961 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hessen Cassel. Bill was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville and the Maumee Valley Tractor Club. He was also a member of the "Liar's Club" and the Model A Club. He was a lifetime Allen County farmer and retired from Fruehauf Trailer Manufacturing in Fort Wayne. He was also the owner and operator of Comment Farm Repair in Monroeville. Family was very important to Bill. He loved spending time with his wife, children & grandchildren. His passion was sharing his knowledge with others. He loved supporting the farming community through his work at the welding shop. He loved & was passionate about antique Farmall tractors and Model A's. Surviving are his wife, Lucille F. Comment of Monroeville; daughter, Carolyn (Kip) Reidenbach of Decatur; son, Gary (Cindy) Comment of Hoagland; son, Steve (Annette) Comment of Monroeville; son, Dean (Dawn) Comment of Zulu; brother, Roy (Marion) Comment of Goshen; and brother, Wallace Comment of Decatur. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Cathie (Andy) Reidenbach Stratton; Candy Reidenbach; Amy Streets; Caitlin (Travis) Reidenbach Tonner; Nathan Comment; Cole Comment; Kirsten Comment; Shelby Comment; Wyatt Comment; and Morgan Comment and five great-grandchildren, Kayden Streets; Libbie Stratton; Ethan Streets; Greg & Gracie Stratton. Preceding Noble in death were an infant daughter and a sister, Joan Fuhrman. A Prayer Service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Monday in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville with Fr. Lourdino Fernandes officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 19 and 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Apr 20 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville. A Rosary service will be held on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are Masses to the church; St. Rose Catholic School Building Fund; or Monroeville EMS.
