Naomi Irene Moore, 71 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 8:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at her residence. Naomi was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1942 in Van Wert, Ohio the daughter of the late Sherman Wallace and the late Ethel (Dunifon) Wallace. She married Rex M. Moore on August 29, 1964 and he survives. Naomi was a member of Common Ground Church of the Nazarene. Naomi was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker and retired from Adams Wells Special Services Co-Op. She owned and operated Kelly's Dry Cleaners with her husband, Rex. Surviving are her husband, Rex M. Moore of Decatur, IN; daughter, Mary Anne (Scott) Taylor of Auburn, IN; daughter, Molly Farthing of Decatur, IN; son, Matthew (Jamie) Moore of Monroe, IN; daughter, Mindy (Eric) Tryon of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Phyllis (Walter "Bug") Koch of Elida, OH; sister, Marlene (John "Jack") McHenney of Waterville, OH; brother, David (Nancy) Wallace of New Haven, IN; 12 grandchildren: Jordan, Cameron, Landon, & Quinton Taylor; Logan, Mariah, & Jessah Farthing; Malakai & Elijah Moore; Ella, Evie, & Macguire Tryon. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in the Common Ground Church, 6555 N. Piqua Rd. Decatur with Matthew Moore & Pastor Kevin Stirratt officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Preferred memorials are to Hope Clinic (http://hopeandanswers.com); House of Hope (http://www.houseofhopenei.org); and Common Ground NMI (Nazarene Missions International).
