Donald L. Riley, 72 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 10:52 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 in the Adams Woodcrest located in Decatur. Don was born on Sunday, February 8, 1942 in Decatur, Indiana the son of the late V. Wayne Riley and the late Berteline (Beer) Riley. Don was a member of the Pleasant Mills United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Pleasant Mills High School Class of 1960. Don served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War from 1965-1969. Don had worked for Central Soya Bag Service and was also a farmer. Surviving are his sister, Linda (Larry) Caffee of Willshire, OH; nephew, Jeffrey (Jackie) Caffee of Willshire, OH; nephew, Jon (Lisa) Caffee of Willshire, OH; niece, Jenifer (Andy) Ross of Willshire, OH; grand-nephews: Zackary, Jacob, Caleb Caffee; and Jackson Ross; grand-nieces: Tia Caffee and Amanda Ross; three great-grand-nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Humble and Rev. Ernie Suman officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Military Graveside services will be conducted by American Legion Post #43 Adams County Color Guard. Friends will be received from 12:00 NOON - 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN. Preferred memorials are to Family LifeCare-Berne.
