K. Ann Chin-Christlieb, 69 years old of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in the Parkview Regional Medical Center located in Fort Wayne. Ann was born on Saturday, October 20, 1945 in Auburn, Indiana the Daughter of the late Ted Gorrell and the late Virginia (Cook) Gorrell. She married the late Charles Chin on June 19, 1963 and he passed away on November 17, 1992. Ann was employed at Comcast Cable for 25 years and retired as the dispatch manager. Along with her husband, she was the owner of the Golden Dragon Restaurant in Ft. Wayne. She was also a real estate agent in Ft. Wayne, working for the Ross LaMar Real Estate Agency. Surviving are her companion, Robert Christlieb of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter, Teri Freeby of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter, Tami Chin of Mishawaka, IN; step-son, Robert (Maura) Christlieb of McFarland, WI; step-daughter, Samara (Adam) Chasen of Chicago, IL; sister, Sharon (Del) Deckard of Jabez, KY; sister, Lee (Mike) Hoyland of Gulfport, FL; sister-in-law, Ruth Chin of Muncie, IN; nephews: Ted Deckard, David Deckard, Allen Deckard.; and seven grandchildren: Adam Freeby, Ryan Freeby, Maeve Christlieb, Rory Christlieb, Amelia Chasen, Bella Chasen, and Max Chasen. Preceding K. Ann in death were a son-in-law, Kent Freeby and sister-in-law, Lois Chin. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 in the D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN with Rev. Steve Ahlersmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 in the D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd. Ft. Wayne, Indiana and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.
