Mary Diane Ohler, 65 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. She was born on Friday, April 15, 1949 in Decatur, Indiana the daughter of the late Ruben Gerke and the late Margret (Wagoner) Gerke. Mary was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling. She was employed by Parker Hannifin in New Haven, Indiana since 1991. She had also previously worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne and The Molding Company in Hoagland. Surviving are her daughter, Kristi Avery of Fort Wayne; son, Tony (Emma) Ohler of Decatur; son, Bob (Sandi) Ohler of Pittsburgh, PA; and sister, Judy (Sheldon) Christener of Decatur. She is also survived by three grandchildren, David Brewster; Justin Ohler; & Joey Ohler; and five great-grandchildren, Kaylie Wellman; Kendall Ohler; Peyton Brewster; Gracie Brewster; & Liam Ohler. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling with Rev. Martin Moehring officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Fuelling. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 & 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 9 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
