Emma L. Lacatis, 85 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Adams Woodcrest located in Decatur. She was born on Thursday, October 10, 1929 in Myra, Kentucky the Daughter of the late Jonas Mullins and the late Mary (Johnson) Mullins. She married Boyd Donald Harrison in Kentucky and he preceded her in death in 1987. On November 25, 1991, Emma married George Lacatis in Van Wert, Ohio and he preceded her in death. Emma was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughter, Dianna (Duane) Ehlerding of Decatur; daughter, Donna (Larry) Bender of Convoy, Ohio; daughter, Doris Lautzenhiser of Decatur; daughter, Deborah (Douglas) Schmit of Geneva; daughter, Dolores "Lory" (Garry) Wilson of Decatur; daughter, Denise (Doug) Beahrs of Decatur; brother, Ray Mullins of Michigan; and five sisters, Pauline (Fred) Bamburg of Texas; Phyllis Wilson of Rhode Island; Mary "Tootsie" (Ed) McMillen, Florine "Flo" (Warren) O'Brien, & Virginia "Jenny" (John) Haines, all of Michigan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Preceding Emma in death were a daughter, Dawn Thomas; a granddaughter, Terra Beahrs; and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home. Interment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 28 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Adams Woodcrest Activities.
