Randall Scott Culp, 55 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on Monday, October 5, 1959 in Davenport, Iowa the son of the late Richard L. Culp and the late Marilyn J. (Epps) Culp. He married Debbie L. Murdock on July 17, 2007 in Decatur, Indiana. Randy was employed by Ossian Meats for six years and prior to that, he was employed at Eckhart Woodworking in Monroe, Indiana. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns fan. Randy also enjoyed NASCAR with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. being his favorite driver. Surviving are his wife, Debbie L. Culp of Decatur; son, David (Eva) Culp of Tulsa, OK; step-daughter, Samantha Hirshey of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Savannah (Fernando) Eguia of Decatur; brother, Robert (Isabel) Stringfield of Torrence, CA; sister, Deborah (Joe) Eckhart of Convoy, OH; sister, Shelley (Tony) Ritchey of Azle, TX; brother, Jeff (Lisa) Culp of Cedar Park, TX; sister, Linda Smith of OK; brother, Ricky Culp of NY; and sister, Rhonda Beasley of FL. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Taylor Hirshey; Bram Culp; Brianna Eguia; Isabella Eguia; and Carmen Eguia. Preceding Randall in death were a grandson, Jackson Hirshey and two brothers, Dennis Culp and Fred Culp. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Decatur with Pastor Jim Compton officiating. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, August 21 at the First United Methodist Church in Decatur. Preferred memorials are to the family.
