Lorene Ellen Reinking, 77 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Adams Woodcrest. She was born on Friday, April 15, 1938 in Adams County the daughter of the late Christ Bohnke and the late Louise (Bleeke) Bohnke. Lorene was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble and former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Decatur. She had been employed at Quik-Lock in New Haven, Indiana for ten years and retired in 2003. She previously worked at Wayne Novelty. Surviving are her daughter, Mary E. Reinking of Decatur; daughter, Deborah A. Schultz of Decatur; son, David A. (Cheryl) Reinking of Decatur; son, Mark W. (Barb) Reinking of Decatur; sister, Marilyn (Doyle) Scott of Hoagland; sister, Darlene (Walter) Leuenberger of Woodburn; sister, Leona (Paul) Busse of Decatur; sister, Dorothy (Wayne) Kirchner of Decatur; and brother, Leroy (Deloris) Bohnke of Decatur. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Emily) Bertsch, Sarah (Sam) Jones, Nathan Chamberlain, Nicholas Reinking, Emilie Reinking, Taylor Schultz, and Courtney Schultz; and two great-grandchildren, Grayson Jones and Arya Jones. Preceding Lorene in death were twin daughter, Melissa J. Reinking in infancy; son, Kenneth D. Reinking; brother and sister-in-law, Allen (Sylvia) Bohnke; brother, Franklin Bohnke in infancy; and the father of her children, Donald Reinking. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble with Dr. Rev. Daniel Brege officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Preble. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 6 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble, Worship for Shut Ins, or St. Paul Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
