Alyce A. Bogan, 71 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 in the DuPont Hospital located in Fort Wayne. Her death was unexpected.
Alyce was born on October 29, 1944 in Decatur, Indiana the daughter of the late Herman Lankenau and the late Albert M. Stahly (step-father) and the late Edythe (Johnson) Lankenau - Stahly. She married Robert W. Bogan in May of 1967 in Decatur, Indiana and he survives.
Alyce was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church - Decatur and the Tri Kappa Sorority of Decatur.
Alyce was a loving homemaker. She had been formerly employed by CTS in Berne and also a part-time employee as an aide in the North Adams Community School District working in the cafeteria and also special needs classes.
Surviving are her husband, Robert W. Bogan of Decatur, IN; daughter, Erica I. Bogan of Decatur, IN; son, Rob L. Bogan of Decatur, IN; sister, Gretchen (Tom) Ehler of Sidney, OH; granddaughter, Alia I. Bogan of Decatur, IN.
Preceding Alyce in death was 1 sister, Gaynel Lankenau.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Becker officiating.
Friends will be received from 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, IN.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and Erin's House of Fort Wayne.
